hou3a3 was part of the production journey of “أن نمشي فوق زجاج مكسور” (Walking on Broken Glass), published by @associationlinabenmhenni , under the supervision and editorial direction of the writer Haykel El-Hazgui.

The brief was a single, clear line: “We want it in a vintage style!” From there, Shou3a3 set out to design the cover and layout, carefully selecting Arabic fonts that were widely used during that era, along with a color palette drawn from the collective memory of our old books and novels.
